I am a freelance artist from India. I like to paint or portray things that I creatively see in my society, with a little bit of humour in it. Life in the City (Mandril Monkey on Bicycle) - In this artwork, I have tried to depict a middle-class family struggling to survive in the world. In my country, I have seen them working at construction sites for buildings. They have to work daily in a lot of risk, balancing their life for their income and resources. They worked hard day and night to fulfill their dreams, I took reference from an animal monkey who also has a family and social life; they swarm from one place to another. they daily roam everywhere in search of food to survive, sometimes door to door sometimes balcony of our houses, sometimes on trees and sometimes on electrical wires. Similarly, people from small cities migrate towards big cities with big dreams. These people probably do not know that the city is as big as it is difficult to live and survive here; it has endless struggles that could remain whole life. I draw a marine fighter ship to depict the struggle and danger of city life, but through balance, you can avoid them.
