Badri Nath Arya, widely known in contemporary art as B.N. Arya, is the last exponent of the watercolor wash technique and imagery of the Neo-Bengal School of northern India. Born into a prosperous business family in Peshawar, he showed a deep interest in fine arts even in his early childhood.
